Preparation Instructions:
Chris from London England sent us this mock Barnum's animal crackers recipe. For the very first step, take out a cookie sheet and lightly grease it with a nonstick spray. Next preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius. Moving along, next take out your food processor, and add into it the white all purpose baking flour, Quaker rolled quick oats, pure baking soda, white superfine sugar, and fine ground table salt. Grind all of these fresh ingredients together until you have a fine powder. Pour this powder into a mixing bowl, then stir in the heavy cream, unsalted margarine, and organic bees honey. Stir the ingredients until an even and rigid cracker dough forms. Next clean and sterilize a flat kitchen surface, then dust it with some leftover flour. Roll your dough into a ball, then flatten it out using a standard baking roller. Once your dough is roughly one quarter of an inch thick, take out animal shaped cutters and begin making the crackers. Place each finished piece on to the already greased cookie sheet. Once the sheet is full, slide it into the oven so that the crackers can bake for about ten to twelve minutes, or until they are lightly golden. Let the crackers cool for half an hour before serving them.
