Preparation Instructions:
I would like to thank Shawn from Juneau Alaska for allowing us to publish his tasty organic animal crackers recipe. To start the creation process, first you will need to preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, or 205 degrees Celsius. Next you will want to take out your blender, and add into it the organic quick rolled oats and raw organic unsalted almonds. Grind these two ingredients into a very fine powder. Next take out a mixing bowl, and whisk together the oat and almond powder, organic whole wheat flour, baking soda, and fine ground table salt. Once these initial ingredients have been thoroughly sifted together, you will then want to vigorously stir in the organic extra virgin olive oil, organic non fat milk, and organic honey. Form the ingredients into a firm cracker dough. Next you will want to sprinkle some leftover flour on to a clean and sterile surface, then roll your cracker dough to an eighth inch thickness. Next take out your small animal shaped cookie cutters, and cut your dough into a variety of shapes. Moving along, next place your prepared dough pieces on to a cookie sheet, making sure to space each cracker roughly one inch apart. Your oven should be heated by this time, so slide the cookie sheet into the oven, and let the crackers bake for roughly five to eight minutes, or until they are a golden brown color. Let the crackers cool on a wire rack for ten minutes or so. If you want to make a large batch, simply scale out your ingredient proportions. That's it for this recipe, we hope you enjoyed it.
