Preparation Instructions:
I would like to send out a warm thank you to Mark from Vancouver British Columbia. He was kind enough to send us this best animal crackers recipe. To get started, please preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius. Next pull out your cookie sheet, thoroughly grease it's surface using a nonstick baker's spray, then set it aside. Moving on, next take out a blender or food processor, and pour into it the Grape-Nuts cereal. Grind the cereal on a high pulse rate, until it's a fine flour consistency. Pour this ground cereal into a mixing bowl, then sift in the whole wheat flour, white superfine baking sugar, ground cloves, allspice, coarse kosher salt flakes, and baking soda. Once those initial first stage ingredients are well blended, you will then want to cut in your plain real salted butter, stirring until it's nice and crumbly. Next stir in the unsweetened coconut milk, organic wildflower honey, pure vanilla extract, and both eggs. Vigorously mix up these ingredients until a firm and rigid cracker dough forms. If the dough is too soft, then simply add in more flour a little bit at a time. It is now time to prepare your actual crackers, so roll your dough out to a ball shape, then flatten it using a rolling pin. You will want the flattened disk to be roughly one eighth inch in thickness. Next dip your cracker cutters into flour, then cut out as many shapes as possible. Evenly line the cut crackers on to the greased cookie sheet, making sure that each cracker is spaced one inch apart. Finally you can slide the first batch into the oven to bake for roughly ten minutes, or until the edges are golden and crisp. Allow the crackers time to cool before serving them. Cheers, and thanks for stopping by.
