Preparation Instructions:
Peter from Reno Nevada recently sent me this Halloween animal crackers recipe. To complete the recipe, you will need some small Halloween shaped cookie cutters, such as ghosts, bats, cats, ghouls, goblins, and jack o'lanterns. For the first step, preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, or 205 degrees Celsius. For step two, please take out a blender and plug it in. You will then want to grind up your Cheerios breakfast cereal, and pour the mixture into a mixing bowl. Next stir in the organic naturally white unbleached flour, kosher salt, ground cloves, pure baking soda, and ground allspice. Once that first batch of ingredients has been mixed up, you will then want to energetically stir in the pure organic agave nectar, softened real unsalted butter, and sweetened condensed milk. After stirring for a while, your cracker dough with begin to form into a stiff clump. You will then want to flour a flat surface, and then roll this clump into an even ball. Next take out a flour dusted rolling pin, and then flatten out your dough ball to an eighth inch thick disk. Next dip your cookie cutters into flour, and then cut out a wide variety of cracker shapes. Place these finished shapes on to a pregreased cookie sheet. Slide your cookie sheet into the oven to bake for seven to nine minutes, or until the crackers are crisp and golden around the edges. Once your crackers have finished baking, set them all out on wax baking paper to cool to room temperature. Once your crackers have cooled, you will then want to melt your dark chocolate chips in a saucepan over medium high heat. Finally you will want to glaze or coat each cracker in the dark chocolate sauce, then set it back on to the wax baking paper to harden.
