Preparation Instructions:
George from Boise Idaho just sent me this enticing circus animal crackers recipe to publish. For step one, first you should preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius. Next take out your blender, and pour into it the old fashioned organic rolled oats, all purpose whole wheat baking flour, toasted sesame seeds, standard pure baking soda, and regular table salt. Grind this initial batch of ingredients up until they form a nice and even powder. You will then want to pour this powder into a mixing bowl. Next take out an electric mixer, and blend together the oat and flour powder, dark brown sugar, softened unsalted real butter, and fresh cold low fat milk. Once your cracker dough is even and firm, roll it into a ball on a clean and flour dusted surface. Next roll the dough ball into a one quarter inch thick disk. Using animal shaped cutters, cut out as many crackers as you can, then place then on a parchment lined cookie sheet spread one inch apart. Slide your crackers into the oven to bake for eight to twelve minutes, or until they are crisp and lightly browned. Once done, set the cookie sheet aside without removing the crackers, so that they can cool. Once they are no longer warm, take out a small saucepan and melt your white chocolate baking chips. Next take a spoon and evenly coat each cracker with the chocolate, then sprinkle them with the rainbow nonpareil sprinkles. You will then want to let them cool for two hours in the refrigerator. That concludes this wonderful recipe. Do keep in mind that you can use food coloring with this recipe, so that your chocolate glaze is a fun color.
