Sigourney from New York City New York sent us this interesting and unique pizza flavored animal crackers recipe. To get started, first you will need to preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius. Next take out your blender or food processor, and pour into it the white all purpose baking flour, baking soda, garlic powder, ground basil, ground oregano, and table salt. Blend these ingredient together until a smooth and even powder forms. Pour your finished powder into a mixing bowl, then take out an electric baking mixer. You will then want to turn on the mixer, and gradually blend together the flour base, parmesan cheese, softened real salted butter, Ragu pizza sauce, whole milk, and large fresh whole egg. Once your dough is thick and firm, you will want to roll it into two balls, and then refrigerate them until they are firm. If your dough is too sticky or moist, simply stir in more flour. Once chilled, you will then want to roll out each dough ball on a clean flour dusted surface. Once the dough is flattened to a quarter inch thickness, take out your animal cracker cutters, and make as many shapes as you can. Place these cut shapes on to a baking sheet that has been lightly sprayed with a nonstick cooking spray. You are now ready to bake the crackers for ten to twelve minutes per batch, or until they are crisp and golden. Let the crackers cool on a wire wrack before serving them.
