Preparation Instructions:
My cousin Jeff from Ashland Oregon sent me this bulk animal crackers recipe. To get started, please preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius. Next you will need to take out a large cookie sheet, and then spray it with a nonstick baking spray, such as Meijer brand nonstick cooking spray. Set your greased cookie sheet aside, then take out a blender and plug it in. Next you will want to pour all of your organic toasted rolled oats into the machine, then grind them into a fine flour mixture. Dump this oat flour into a mixing bowl, then stir in the white all purpose baking flour, regular table salt, baking soda, ground cinnamon, nutmeg powder, and light brown sugar. Moving ahead, next diligently mix in the softened unsalted butter, liquid vanilla bean extract, and organic sweetened condensed milk. Eventually after mixing these ingredients together, a large dough clump will begin to form. You want your dough clump to be fairly stiff. Next clean a counter surface and then sprinkle over the top of it some leftover baking flour. You will then want to divide your dough clump into four parts, then roll each part into a perfect ball. Now take out a large heavy rolling pin, and flatten each dough ball into an eighth inch thick disk. Next dip the edges of your animal cracker cutters into some flour, and begin cutting the crackers out. Place the cut crackers on to your already greased cookie sheet, then slide it into the oven to bake for ten to twelve minutes per batch. We appreciate you checking out this recipe, and hope you enjoyed it.
