Preparation Instructions:
I would like to thank Kevin from Seattle Washington for mailing our editor this heavenly gluten free animal crackers recipe. To get started, first you will need to preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius. Next take out a mixing bowl and an electric mixer, and thoroughly stir together the softened real unsalted butter, gluten free baking powder, xanthan gum, light brown baking sugar, large fresh whole egg, light corn syrup, and the all purpose gluten free flour. Once your dough becomes firm and stiff, place it on a clean and sterile surface that has been lightly dusted with gluten free flour. Roll the cracker dough out to roughly one quarter inch in thickness, and then cut it using small animal cracker cutters. Place your cut crackers on to a lightly greased baking sheet, spreading them one inch apart. You are now ready to slide the cookie sheet into the oven, letting the crackers bake for roughly ten minutes, or until they are golden brown. Once done, let the animal crackers cool on a wire rack until they can be handled. These crackers will keep for about two weeks in a tightly sealed container.
